Shore to Shore
Almost 90 TPS learners, parents, teachers and friends joined over 3000 walkers, joggers and runners on Sunday morning for the annual 2023 Shore to Shore event.
It was a beautiful day on the famous course, from Takapuna Grammar School to Milford Reserve, taking in both Takapuna and Milford beaches, followed by refreshments, entertainment and spot prizes on the reserve.
Thank you to Hussein Kubba from Harcourts Cooper & Co for sponsoring the TPS sausage sizzle, Shore City for donating special spot prizes for TPS participants, and the School Community Group (SCG) for helping everyone recover and refuel at the end.
If you missed out this year, watch out for Shore to Shore promo next year as we aim to top 100 participants, earning even more sports equipment vouchers for the school, and maybe claim the school prize for the most participants!

You may have seen the pataka kai (store house or pantry) on Auburn street.
This was made by a group of students with support from our property manager and some whānau last year who wanted to give back to our community.
We hope the pataka kai provides the Takapuna community with an opportunity to give to others. Please feel free to donate any non perishable food items.
Take what you need, leave what you can!

Takapuna Cricket Team
A massive congratulations to the Takapuna Primary Cricketers who won the Kookaburra cup last Friday night. It was a whole school effort with the scores of all the Takapuna players counting to the school’s tally. This is the first time we have won this cup, hopefully we have started a trend!
